These terms summarise what it means to be a member of Sitakund Samitee UK ("SSUK"). They sit alongside our constitution — if anything here differs from the constitution, the constitution wins.

1. Who can join

Membership is open to anyone aged 18 or over living in the UK who is from Sitakund (Chattogram, Bangladesh), or is a descendant or spouse/partner of someone from Sitakund. Friends and well-wishers of the community may be welcomed in a supporter capacity at the committee's discretion.

Fees fund our community events, publications and charitable work — SSUK is not-for-profit, and no part of its funds benefits any individual member privately.
